In Season 2 of this popular reality show, a band of brave participants must cope with the same back-breaking challenges the original Gaspé settlers faced following the Great Depression. Under the most miserable conditions imaginable and only with the means available at the time, they must lay the foundations of a small private fishing operation by fulfilling the orders handed out to them by the colony’s inspector general. Construction of a traditional cookroom, building a boat, processing the mythical codfish, and learning how to deal with the whims of an unmanageable sea are among the tasks that await them. But their primary goal is to survive each successive elimination, since only one of them will make it to the very end and take home the $100,000 grand prize!
